Aloudly requires accessibility permissions to read text from any app system-wide. This is a macOS security feature - the permission is requested during first launch. Your data never leaves your device except for the text sent to voice generation APIs.

The app itself is about 100 MB. Your audio library size depends on how much you save - each hour of audio is approximately 60 MB. You can manage storage by deleting old audio or exporting to external storage.
